Orders and Returns

We will gladly accept returns for refund on all sales at our stores (except tinted colours) which are still in a saleable condition and accompanied by original receipt of purchase.

Tint policy: Please choose your colour selections and quantities carefully as once the paint is tinted to your choice it can not be returned for a refund or exchanged.

 

Returning Products Purchased Online

We understand that sometimes you may need to return a product you have purchased from the Inspirations Paint online store. To assist you, we have set out below the Inspirations Paint Returns Policy highlighting key points that you should know.

Australian Consumer Law: Our Returns Policy includes, and does not seek to exclude or limit, the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (if you are a consumer) and other relevant laws.

If you are a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not limited by a defined time. However, the Australian Consumer Law does recognise that the relevant time period for which a remedy may be available can vary from product to product, depending on factors such as the nature of the product and the price. Inspirations Paint adopts the same approach. As you can appreciate, the type of remedy we can offer you may also vary depending on how long it takes you to return the product to us.

We ask that when making a purchase you please choose carefully as Inspirations Paint does not accept return of products (or exchange) where you have simply changed your mind, are not happy with a colour or where the purchase was a gift that was unwanted. Inspirations Paint also does not accept any returns (or exchanges) on any paint that has been tinted.

Products purchased online can only be returned (or exchanged) if they are faulty, and the fault did not arise through any misuse, abnormal use or negligent use of the product.

 

Returns Procedure

Please contact the Inspirations Paint store where you picked up your goods so the store staff can determine that your purchased goods are damaged or faulty and was through no fault of your own or through wear and tear, You will be entitled to:

  • A money back refund onto the credit card used to purchase the item

The refund can only be processed by Inspirations Paint National Office and not at the store. This can only be done during business hours Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays). The money will be issued to the credit card used to pay for the items. Before the refund is issued, the customer needs to return the faulty or damaged item back to Inspirations Paint store where they picked up including a receipt of purchase.
