How To Paint Wall Tiles
You don’t have to renovate your bathroom, kitchen or laundry to get a fresh new look. With Dulux Renovation Range Tiles & Benchtops, you can rejuvenate your space without tearing down a single tile.

Step 1:
Remove all grease and dirt from the tiles with Sugar Soap. Repeat this process twice with clean water.
Step 2:
Remove any loose and flaking paint from tiles.
Step 3:
Fill any cracks or holes with a Selleys Knead-It Aqua.
Step 4:
Sand the tiles to a dull flat finish. Use a clean, damp cloth to remove dust.
Step 5:
Clean the tile surface with Rapid Mould Killer. Remove all silicone sealant from joints using the Selleys Silicone Remover. Allow grout line to dry.
Step 6:
Mask the painting area with painter’s tape.
Step 7:
Mix the additive into the Dulux Renovation Range Primer as per the instructions on the can. Stir until the additive is completely mixed in.
Step 8:
Cut in with the primer. Roll the primer, ensuring the tile surface has even coverage.
Step 9:
Mix the additive into the Dulux Renovation Range Tiles & Benchtops as per the instructions on the can. Stir until the additive is completely mixed in.
Step 10:
Cut in the grout lines with the Dulux Renovation Range Tiles & Benchtops with the edge of the mini roller.
Step 11:
Apply 2 coats of the Dulux Renovation Range Tiles & Benchtops.
Step 12:
Lay off in one direction with an unloaded roller to give a smooth, consistent finish. Allow to dry.
Step 13:
Apply an even coverage of Dulux Renovation Range Clear Coat Gloss to the tiles.
Step 14:
Wait 2 days for light use of the tiles, 7 days for general use.
