How To Patch A Hole Using A Selleys Wall Repair Kit

Got a house inspection coming up? Or maybe you’re just sick of staring at that hole in the wall. Whatever the reason, Selleys Wall Repair Kit is the quickest and easiest solution for your wall woes. Read on to find out how you can repair these holes with ease.

What you need:

• Selleys Wall Repair Kit
• Berger Acrylic Sealant Undercoat
• Sample pot of your wall paint colour
• Brush/mini roller

Method:

Step 1:

Sand any rough edges of the hole. Use a dry cloth to remove the surface dust.

Step 2:

Cut the self-adhesive wall patch to size. Leave 3cm of overlap around the hole.

Step 3:

Remove the backing from the self-adhesive patch and place on the hole. Press down firmly on the edges.

Step 4:

Apply a generous amount of filler with the spatula. Be sure to extend past the edges of the wall patch. Allow to dry.

Step 5:

Lightly sand the surface until smooth. Use a dry cloth to remove any surface dust.

Step 6:

Apply 1 coat of Berger Acrylic Sealant Undercoat to the wall over the hole. Allow to dry.

Step 7:

Apply 1-2 coats of your wall paint colour. Allow to dry between coats.
