Here’s what you need:
Here’s how you do it:
Step 1:
Scrub the garage door thoroughly with Selleys Sugar Soap and a coarse sponge. Hose down to remove the Sugar Soap and allow to dry.
Step 2:
Mask around the garage door with masking film and masking tape. Remember to mask the garage door handles too.
Step 3:
Spray 1x coat of Zinsser Extreme Adhesion Primer to the garage door and allow to dry.
Step 4:
Spray 2x light coats of your chosen topcoat to the garage door and allow to dry between coats. We’re using Dulux Weathershield in Woodland Grey. The aim here is to gradually build up the coverage. If you apply the paint too thick it will drip and ruin your finish. Trust us, if you get a drip and try to fix it with a brush, you instantly add extra texture to the beautiful smooth finish that spray paint gives, so avoid this by building up your coverage.
